Service
REGN is a multidisciplinary consulting organization: architects, environmental scientists, project managers, geospatial analysts, and data and business consultants. We support community-led recovery with the professional work it needs and rarely has the budget for.
Emergency response is the first phase of recovery — search, shelter, immediate relief. Long-term rebuilding is the last. Between them is a quieter period, after the cameras leave, when attention fades but decisions with thirty-year consequences are being made.
That interim is where REGN works. It is when a community sets its direction — what to rebuild, where, and how — often without the planning, design, and analytical capacity that those choices deserve. We bring that capacity, and we put it in service of the community's own goals.
REGN is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We keep our services low-cost — supported by donations, grants, and partners — so communities recovering from disaster can reach professional planning they would otherwise go without.
How that is structured evolves with each engagement: early work is often heavily subsidized, moving toward discounted rates or grant-budgeted scopes as a project matures. The aim stays the same — keep good planning within reach.
If you want to make that possible for more communities, see how to support the work.
The work is organized into two committees. Most engagements draw on both.
Design Committee
The architectural, spatial, and environmental instruments of service — the tools that help a community see and decide.
Business Committee
Data, economic strategy, and systems analysis — the work that helps a partner plan, fund, and sustain what they build.
Every community is different, so no two engagements are identical. The shape is usually this — scroll through.
We work with the community organizations, nonprofits, foundations, and local groups leading recovery on the ground — the people who know their place and are already doing the work. We support them; we do not lead. If that sounds like your organization, we would like to hear from you.
