Communities recovering from disaster are already stretched. Charging full rates for planning would put good design and analysis out of reach — exactly when the stakes are highest. So we keep it low-cost.
Keeping it low-cost for communities does not remove the cost of the work. Donations and grants are what let us take on engagements, reach more communities, and sustain the organization behind them.
